My Background
I have been designing websites for over 20 years and teaching Microsoft Office courses for over 10 years. I work quickly and quality is my top priority. My goal is to make the process an enjoyable experience and exceed your expectations. Several of my clients spent a small fortune to have their website built for them only to be disappointed. I’ve been able to improve their site quickly and cost effectively. Other clients have had no digital presence when I started working for them. It’s been exciting to help them establish their digital identity and help them grow their business.
Another passion of mine is helping people learn what they need to know to accomplish their goals and excel at their jobs. I have taught classes to groups employees and individuals who don’t know what they are missing or have specific learning needs. I can teach a set curriculum or customize the lessons. I typically spend time learning how someone is using the Office applications, what issues they are struggling with, and how they prefer to learn new things. Having lived in nine states I have helped people across the country, long before it became cool to provide virtual support. My customers range from experts in their field to people who struggle with email. My elderly clients appreciate that I can explain things in simple terms and have lots of patience. My advanced customers appreciate that I can come up to speed quickly, teach them what they need to know and often teach them tricks that they didn’t even know existed.

My Skills
I love creating sites using WordPress. The options are endless and the interface is fairly straightforward so I often teach my clients how to maintain/update their site on their own.
This allows me to customize your site if the WordPress Theme we choose doesn’t offer that option in their available settings.
Ensuring the images on your site look the best usually requires editing and optimization. I can also create custom graphics.
I teach custom classes for companies through two community colleges. The companies contract with the colleges and then I deliver the training. I enjoy finding solutions to real problems the employees are facing at work in addition to teaching them the curriculum.
